New Caledonia 1938–78 Stamp Selection, Mainly Unmounted Mint

New Caledonia 1938–78 stamp selection, mainly superb unmounted mint, with many sets and some duplication. The earlier 1938–48 material includes a few mounted mint stamps. The unmounted mint section dates from 1968–78. A couple of stamps are without gum, one stamp is used, and a few have pencil notations on the reverse. Subjects include birds, flowers, marine life, aircraft, local culture and architecture. Front and reverse photographs show the selection across three stock pages.
